Scope and Contents This collection contains photographs of Atlanta's Woman of the Year awardees, sponsors, and committee chairs for each year. Of particular note is a photograph of Atlanta's Woman of the Year founder, Charles H. Jagels, in 1943, as well as photographs of Mayors William B. Hartsfield (1890-1971) and Ivan Allen Jr. (1911-2003) with Woman of the Year awardees. Lee R. Gandee letter

Scope and Content

The collection contains a letter from Lee R. Gandee to Ruth Blair and describes Gandee's impressions traveling through the South in the 1930s and his plans to move to Atlanta, Georgia after being released from the Army and work on renovating a house called "The Old White House."

Scope and Content

This collection contains images of the residence of Judge Clark Howell (Rosalie Howell's grandfather) and the Howell family. Also included are photographs of the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation and the Evan Park Howell School in Atlanta, Georgia. Of special note are images of the graveside and floral designs from Clark Howell's funeral at Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta.

Items include biographies of Presidents Thomas Jefferson and Warren Harding, a short story titled "The Poppies of Wu Fong," and newspaper clippings, mostly about Ruth Blair (1889-1974) being named as Woman of the Year in 1956.
