Scope and Contents
This collection contains the Rural Routes Directory Company's 1920-1921 revised edition of the Revised Rural Route Directory of Fulton County, which served as a reference for farmers traveling in Fulton County, Chamblee, Lithonia, Stone Mountain, and Tucker, Georgia. The directory lists local farmer’s names, route numbers, and locations. Additionally, it features reference tables and guides, such as: weight, volume, and length conversions tables; a Doyle log rule for sawing lumber; and a guide to postage rates by zone. There are also advertisements for clothing, home furnishings, livestock supplies, and machinery retailers; as well as banks, medical providers, funeral homes, and roofers.
