This collection contains black and white photographs collected by Harry G. Lefever through his research and work as a Sociology professor. The photographs document street scenes and residents of inner-city Atlanta neighborhoods, including scenes during and after the 1917 Atlanta fire; street scenes of Baker Street, Butler Street, Chestnut Avenue, Ellis Street, Harris Street, Houston Street, and London Lane; photos of Mrs. A. B. Jefferson, Reverend William Holmes Borders, and W. A. Scott III; and Cabbagetown residents from 1979.
