Scope and Content
Series I comprises approximately one half of the collection and contains images of the immediate family members and descendants of Jefferson and Lucinda Long and Henry and Annie Rucker. The majority of photographs is primarily of the Rucker family and includes images of Ann Rucker Anderson; Annie Eunice Long Rucker; Bessie Rucker Davis and her daughters; Hazel and Henry Rucker; Neddie, Nancy Ann, and Lucy Rucker Aiken. There are personal snapshots and professional portraits of family members with friends and classmates in outdoor settings, at home, and in social gatherings. Also included are images of Jefferson and Lucinda Long.
