This series contains photographs of political leaders, athletes, celebrities, journalists, police and others, taken by William Wilson during his career as a photojournalist for the Atlanta Constitution and Atlanta Journal. It is organized into two sub-series: (A) Individuals, and (B) Groups. Both sub-series are arranged alphabetically by surname or group name. Many of the individuals photographed in this collection are from the following categories: actors and actresses; athletes and coaches; entertainers, political and civic figures; business leaders; and journalists. Actors include Ann Blythe, Joe Brown, Carol Channing, Dorothy Collins, Bette Davis, Dixie Dunbar, Deana Durbin, Susan Hayward, George Jessel, and Al Jolson. Athletes and coaches include Bobby Bragan, Ben Brown Jack Dempsey, Sambo Elliott, Joe Engel, A.J.
