From the Series: This series contains photographs of political leaders, athletes, celebrities, journalists, police and others, taken by William Wilson during his career as a photojournalist for the Atlanta Constitution and Atlanta Journal. It is organized into two sub-series: (A) Individuals, and (B) Groups. Both sub-series are arranged alphabetically by surname or group name. Many of the individuals photographed in this collection are from the following categories: actors and actresses; athletes and coaches; entertainers, political and civic figures; business leaders; and journalists. Actors include Ann Blythe, Joe Brown, Carol Channing, Dorothy Collins, Bette Davis, Dixie Dunbar, Deana Durbin, Susan Hayward, George Jessel, and Al Jolson.
