Administrative/Biographical History
William N. Gantt purchased land in District 17, Section 2, Land Lot 987 in Cobb County in 1866 from Elisha Cochran who received the land via grant in 1832.Gantt continued to acquire land in Cobb County including land in District 17, Section 2, Land lot 937, District 17, Section 2, Land Lot 989. Additioanl biographical information about Gantt, Cochran, and J. Y. Alexander has not been determined.
