Material includes photographs, yearbooks, correspondence, and clippings that illustrate the club's interests and projects. Of special note is a report of the club's civic work with teenage girls from the Oak Hill Homes.

The Peachtree Park Garden Club of Atlanta, Georgia, was organized in 1937 to "promote interest in gardens, to aid in protection of native trees, flowers, and birds, and to exchange experiences." The club was governed by elected officers such as president, vice-president, and treasurer. The club was an active member of The Garden Club of Georgia, Inc. and the National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc. The club supported many organizations such as the Henrietta Egleston Hospital for Children, the Buckhead Health Center, Oak Hill Homes, and the Northside YMCA. The club was a member of the Junior Flower Show Association and participated in numerous flower shows, winning many awards.
