Scope and Content
This collection contains materials pertaining to the life and education of Betsy Edith (Blumberg) Teplis. Materials include: concert and theater programs, a certificate of completion from Daniel C. O'Keefe Junior High School, a Girls High School freshman handbook, Girls High School class of 1944 fifty year reunion program (1994), and commencement announcements from the Girls High School graduation of Betsy Teplis. Also included is a Georgia School of Technology (later the Georgia Institute of Technology) commencement announcement for Marvin Blumberg.

Administrative/Biographical History
Betsy Edith Blumberg was born on January 28, 1926, to Jacob A. Blumberg (1889-1876) and Miriam Sara (Saul) Blumberg (1892-1983). Her older brother was named Marvin W. Blumberg (1920-?). Blumberg attended Tenth Street Elementary School, Daniel C. O'Keefe Junior High School, and Atlanta Girls High School, graduating in 1944. Blumberg married Paul Teplis and the couple have three children. As of 2006, Betsy continues to reside in Atlanta.
