Administrative/Biographical History

Robert Jones and Tom Ferguson were the local supervisors in charge of the restoration of the Atlanta Cyclorama during the late 1970s and early 1980s. The restoration was done by Gustav A. Berger of Berger Art Conservation, Inc. of New York. The work began in January 1979 and was completed in October 1982, but negotiations began in 1973. The project officially ended in 1985.
