This collection primarily consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings, invitations, and a guest book from the Anderson-McNeely wedding in 1927. Also included are itineraries for travel in Paris, a program from the 1913 graduation ceremony of Marietta High School, and poetry.

Administrative/Biographical History
Julia DuPre Anderson McNeely (1896-1987) was born in Marietta, Georgia, to Jessie Lee Montgomery Anderson (1867-1945) and James Thomas Anderson (1866-1949). McNeely graduated from Marietta High School in 1913 and later attended Agnes Scott College in Decatur. In 1927 she married Colonel Oscar DuBois McNeely (1894-1944) and they had two children, Julia Anderson (1930- ) and James E. (1933- ). Oscar McNeely served in the 25th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Group in World War II. His plane crashed near Hollandia, Netherlands New Guinea.
