Administrative/Biographical History
John L. Hopkins was an Atlanta judge. He had a law firm with his sons, Charles T. and Linton C. Hopkins. Judge Hopkins died in 1912. Linton C. Hopkins wrote essays, fiction, and poetry. Charles T. Hopkins died in 1921. Linton C. Hopkins married Nina Ellet Cabell and had five children: Linton, Jr., John, Charles Ellet, Cabell, and Nina. Nina Hopkins married William D. Grant. Nina and William Grant had a daughter, Nina who died in infancy, and a son, William D. Grant, III. William Grant, III married Juliana and had a son, Danny. William was later killed in World War II.
