The Teen Center’s mission is to provide reproductive care to male and female adolescents between the age of 12 and 19. Among their list of services are STD and pregnancy testing, contraceptive prescriptions and gynecological care, and sports physicals for high school students. In order to provide holistic care that includes both medical and emotional well-being, the staff is comprised of physicians, nurses, social workers, and adolescent health educators. Originally located on Butler Street (later Jesse Hill Jr. Drive), the Teen Center expanded to include a second location at the Emory University School of Medicine’s Jane Fonda Center.
