Campbell family correspondence
Scope and Content
This collection contains correspondence written by members of the Campbell family and their friends. Authors include Joseph C. Hornblower, Abby Campbell, Anna Maria Harris, and Marjory Corcoran. The letters were posted from Ireland, Scotland, South Carolina and New York, and are addressed to cities in New York and New Jersey. Eliza Campbell is the recipient of most of the letters, but Mrs. H. K. Campbell, Mrs. James H. Kip, and Mrs. C. Ludlows also received letters. The texts discuss recent visits, daily activities, familial concerns, and seasonal greetings.
