Administrative/Biographical History

Edwina G. Merritt worked at the Capital City Club beginning in 1944 as an elevator operator and later working as a lady's room attendant. She became acquainted with members of the club and started keeping scrapbooks of articles regarding the members that she clipped from the Atlanta Journal in 1946.
