Administrative/Biographical History
The Georgia Federation of Music Clubs was organized April 26, 1920. It was a member of the National Federation of Music Clubs. The object of the federation, as stated in the by-laws was "to form an established center for the musical organizations of the state, that they may be brought into communication with one another for mutual help and for the advancement of music."
