Administrative/Biographical History
Barry Searle, of Montrose, Pennsylvania, and C. F. Wright, of Susquehanna Depot, Pennsylvania, founded the Franklin Gold, Pyrite & Power Company which included water power, land, pyrites and gold. The company was based in north Georgia in Creighton, near Gainesville.
