Administrative/Biographical History

Charles D. Horn was a contractor for the State Capitol Building in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, and was a successful contractor in Toledo, Ohio, before coming to Atlanta In 1884. He became director of the Piedmont Exposition Company and was an original member of the Gentlemen's Driving Club. He was killed while arbitrating an argument in 1887.
