Administrative/Biographical History
Jack Spalding became editor of the Atlanta Journal in 1957. He retired in 1978. Mr. Spalding served on the Board of Trustees of the Atlanta Historical Society beginning in 1971, and was President of the Board, 1981- 1983. Mr. Spalding died January 2, 2003. Additional biographical information about Jack Spalding has not been determined.
