Scope and Content
This collection contains an autograph book brought by Joseph B. Jones of Herndon, Georgia to the University of Georgia, informally known at the time as Franklin College after its first building, in Athens.The autograph book contains the signatures including David William Lewis who went on to become the President of North Georgia Agricultural College. Another signer was John LeConte who helped to modernize the curriculum at the college.
