Scope and Content
This collection contains scrapbooks that provide information on the social and civic activities of the club. Included in the scrapbooks are photographs, clippings, and program materials that detail the clubs projects and interests. One scrapbook is devoted to the club's civic project of landscaping the grounds of the Friendship House.

Administrative/Biographical History
The Paran Hills Garden Club of Atlanta, Georgia, was organized in 1949, and governed by elected officers such as president, vice president, and treasurer. The club supported organizations such as the Friendship House, a halfway home located on Fourth Street, operated by the Metropolitan Atlanta Mental Health Association. The club participated in local flower shows winning many awards. Additional historical information about the club has not been determined.
