About Kenan Research Center Finding Aids

Finding aids are descriptive guides to collections created to assist you discover information about your areas of study. Kenan Research Center collections contain a diverse array of original primary source material, including correspondence, minutes of meetings, reports, photographs, maps, architectural drawings, as well as audio and video recordings.

The Kenan Research Center’s unique collections document a wide range of topics about Atlanta and its environs, including, activism and social change; business and commerce; folklife; home and family; military history; the natural and built environment; politics and government; sports, arts, and recreation; and transportation.

To view collection material in person, you may visit the Kenan Research Center during our public hours, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
