Scope and Contents of the Records
This collection contains photographs of cities located south of Atlanta, Georgia in Fulton County. Included are images of College Park, East Point, Fairburn, Hapeville, Palmetto, Red Oak, and Union City. Many of these cities were originally part of Campbell County, a county that went bankrupt during the Great Depression and was then merged with Fulton County. Photographer Hancock follows highways 19 and 29 in a span of one month to reveal the former Campbell County cities in their 1954...

Scope and Content
This collection consists of photographs documented and collected by William R. Mitchell, Jr that appeared in his books, lectures, and architectural studies. The photographs were taken in various Georgia cities including Atlanta, Savannah, Thomasville, Roswell, and Albany. The images are of residential homes and apartments, furnished interiors, historic buildings, parks, streetscapes, churches, and Edward Vason Jones's 19th Century America exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
