Scope and Content This collection consists of a journal kept by H. W. Santelle. It records the medical treatment of three patients he attended from 1863-1864. He notes their rank, age, regiment, company, injury, and battle where the injury was sustained. Each soldiers' health and treatment are documented, and the journal includes a post mortem examination report. The three soldiers were: Clarance L.
