Charles Stevens papers

This collection consists of documents pertaining to the Apollo Room, interior decoration, and LGBT activism. These documents include Apollo Room travel brochures; an issue of House and Garden; and records documenting Stevens’s donations to Jerusalem House, a non-profit that housed low-income individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. Of particular note is correspondence between Stevens and the Jerusalem House about building an HIV/AIDS clinic in Midtown.

This collection contains photographs of the DeGive family of Atlanta, Georgia. Included are portraits of family members, and scrapbooks made by Henry Leon DeGive Jr. containing photographs of family and personal travels, as well as university life. The collection also includes photographs of the family's theaters, the DeGive's Opera House (corner of Forsyth and Marietta Streets) and DeGive's Grand Opera House (157 Peachtree Street).

Eastern Air Lines documents

Scope and Content This collection contains a scrapbook documenting the first international flight from the Atlanta Municipal Airport, an Eastern Air Lines flight to Mexico City on June 25, 1971. To reflect that the airport now had international flights, it was renamed William B. Hartsfield International Airport later that year.
