John G. White, Jr. papers

This collection contains correspondence written between John G. White, Jr., his mother Eva White, and his future wife Marbelle Ware, while he was deployed during World War II. Of particular note are cards produced specifically to send to servicemen, two Georgia Power newsletters, and a censored letter from White to his mother, dated July 27, 1943. There are also examples of ration books, newspaper clippings regarding White's marriage, and a clipping autographed by Carl Conway.
