Scope and Contents of the Records
This collection contains one card and three letters sent to Idalia Ferguson from family and family friends. The first item is a Christmas card sent in 1933 from Lucille in Ocala, Florida. Also included is a letter written at the William Sloan House in New York by her son Edgar on December 12, 1933. He informs his mother that he is having a good trip despite the cold weather. Scope and Contents
The bulk of this collection contains images of ballet dancers wearing costumes and costume design sketches by Margaret Shepherd. There are also drawings and greeting cards of Atlanta scenes designed by Shepherd. Also included are images of Jack Ramsey, the set designer for the Atlanta Civic Ballet, and Christmas cards designed by her husband, Judson O'Donald Shepherd. Of special note is a bookplate created for Margaret Foster, designed prior to her marriage.
