Palmetto Guards ephemera
This collection contains a list of men and brief accounts of their service in Company C, 19th Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry, Army of Tennessee, otherwise known as Palmetto Guards, also a muster roll of officers in the unit and a list of men with their birth and death dates. Also included is the minutes of a meeting of Douglas County Confederate veterans held August 6, 1912. Transcriptions of documents are included.

Spiller and Burr Pistol Factory records
This collection consists of two letters from "E. Shepperson" about the Spiller and Burr Pistol Factory and a compilation of business letters and agreements written by James Burton and Edward Spiller. The papers include two contracts between the Spiller and Burr Pistol Factory and the Confederacy and correspondence between the two regarding the pistol factory.
Thomas O'Reilly Monument photographs
This collection captures the unveiling of the O'Reilly Monument in front of the Atlanta City Hall on the corner of Washington Street and Mitchell Street. The monument was erected by the Atlanta Historical Society.

This collection contains a transcription of a diary kept by William Montgomery during the Civil War during 1863-1864. There are also transcriptions of letters he wrote from 1861-1866, and in 1907.
W. C. Sims slave receipt
This collection contains two photo copies of a receipt for the "loan" of an enslaved man named George, belonging to W. C. Sims of Troup County, Georgia, to the Confederate States for military defense in the vicinity of Troup County. The receipt is dated July 2, 1864.

Of particular note are letters that reference slavery in the South and everyday life in the 19th century.
