Scope and Content This collection consists of one copy of "The Kelly Boys," a short story written by Donald Windham in the form of a letter with date line "Atlanta May 1939." The story itself follows the narrator's internal observation of the eponymous Kelly boys, three brothers of "unimaginably beautiful" appearance. Jack Strouss and William Devaux Wilson papers

Scope and Content

This collection contains personal correspondence from William "Bill" Devaux Wilson to Jack Strouss, sent mostly from California. In his letters, Wilson discusses their romantic relationship and his life in California. Of particular note is a letter stamped Oct. 11, 1954, in which Bill encourges Jack to marry and have children while still maintaining their relationship. The collection also contains poems and stories written by Wilson.

This collection contains a booklet advertising The Jewel Box Revue. The booklet primarily contains photographs of the performers both in and out of drag; in one section the author encourages the reader to match fully-costumed performers to photos of their more conventionally-attired selves. Of particular note is mention that there was only one woman performer in the Revue, Storme DeLarverie.
