James Warren English scrapbook
This collection contains a scrapbook with newspaper clippings, correspondence, programs, pamphlets, and advertisements related to the Fourth National Bank of Atlanta as well as first class train tickets. Of special note are marketing materials aimed at female customers, including advertisements for the bank's department for women and a newspaper article about its first female bank teller, Jennie Armstrong.
Kuhns family photographs
This collection contains images from the Kuhn's Photography Studio, including photographs of both the Kuhns family and clients. Many of the images are identified, however most of the tintypes remain unidentified.
Rich's Department Store new employee training documents
This collection contains training materials for new female Rich's hires. Specifically, material includes booklets on the chemistry and care of Nylon and other fabrics, as well as tips on how to sell these and other products. The documents include store policy and procedures, and one entry blank for a Deering, Milliken & Co., Inc. retail sales personnel contest. Of special note are three Elizabeth Arden wellness pamphlets that provide tips on diet, skincare, and exercise for women.
Whittier Cotton Mills photographs
This collection contains images of Whittier Cotton Mills employees, primarily from the cafeteria and spinning room. Also included are images of people and entities not connected to Whittier Cotton Mills, such as Chattahoochee School and Riverside Church of God group portraits and leased convict laborers for the Chattahoochee Brick Company. Of special note are images of the Whittier Cotton Mills baseball team.
