Scope and Contents note

This series documents the landscape of the city of Atlanta, the surrounding state of Georgia, as well as the states of Florida, and Vermont. Included are images of buildings, streets, and other urban landmarks, as well as photographs of rural areas in cities and towns across Georgia. Some of the locations depicted in Atlanta include; Atlanta Municipal Airport, Atlanta Stadium, Bobby Jones Golf Course, East Lake Golf Course, Atlanta Municipal Auditorium, North Fulton County Golf Course, Oglethorpe University, and the Wrens Nest. Also included are dozens of aerial views of downtown Atlanta. Other photographs in this series contain images of Georgia cities and towns including Amicalola Falls, Athens, Bald Mountain, the Blue Ridge mountains, Burton Lake, Callaway Gardens, Cloudland Canyon, Chatuge Lake, Decatur, Gainesville, the Lanier Oak Tree, Maggie’s Valley, Midway, Okefenokee Swamp, St. Simons Island, Stone Mountain, Tallulah Gorge State Park, Unicoi Gap, Valona, Vogel Park, Warm Springs, Yona Mountain, and Young Harris.
