Greene-Hopkins-Wadkins Land Grants
Scope and Content
This collection contains three land grants for land lots 230, 231, and 244, adjoining properties in the 17th District in Henry County, Georgia (later Fulton County, Georgia). Lot 231 was registered by Alston H. Greene of DeKalb County, Georgia in 1833 and had an irregular lottery size of 183 acres. Lot 230 was registered by John Hopkins of Emmanual County, Georgia in 1823, and lot 244 was registered by Barnett R. Wadkins of Franklin County, Georgia in 1823.

Wadkins, who was married to Hannah Epperson on 12 November 1811 in Franklin County, Georgia. Other biographical information about Alston H. Greene, John Hopkins, and Barnett R. Wadkins has not been determined.
