This collection contains a family scrapbook with photocopies of a diary kept by Nancy Ann Holt Adams from 1895-1898 documenting family life, the weather, and the death of her first child. It also includes newspaper articles about the family, certificates, photographs, and genealogical information about the Adams family.

Administrative/Biographical History
Charles Matthew Adams (1871-1945) married Nancy Ann Holt (1860-1942) in 1896. They had one son, Charles Clyde Adams (1900-1959). Charles M. Adams opened one of first medical practices in the Atlanta neighborhood of Buckhead; he first worked out of an office in the Buckhead Theatre building and later operated out of his home. Nancy Ann Holt Adams was a school teacher in Buckhead, and later worked for an engraving company. Further biographical information about the Adams family has not been determined.
