Administrative/Biographical History

Dante's Down the Hatch was a chain of restaurants founded by Dante Stephenson in 1970 in Atlanta, Georgia. The Underground Atlanta location was located inside of a replica pirate ship where visitors dined with crocodiles swimming in a moat under their feet. The restaurant also featured prominent jazz musicians six days a week. The location closed in 2013.
