Administrative/Biographical History

William T. Healey Jr. (1904-1988) was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Ada Moore Healey (1881-1968) and William T. Healey Sr. (1853-1920), one of Atlanta's largest property owners, and the builder and owner of the Healey building in Atlanta. William Jr. attended the Robert E. Lee Institute in Thomaston, Georgia and Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. He married Callie Jackson Orme (1905-1998) in 1929, and they had two children, Callie J. (1933-2011) and William T. III (1938-1992). Healey Jr. died on September 17, 1988 in Atlanta, Georgia.
