This collection contains minutes, reports, clippings, and yearbooks that document the civic and social activities of the club. Also a part of the collection are scrapbooks that provide more detail of the club's projects, programs, and flower shows. Two of the scrapbooks contain personal photos and awards of club member and avid dahlia grower, Mrs. Olive R. Uhl. One scrapbook focuses on the installation of an illuminated fountain in the garden of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home.

Scope and Content This collection contains letters to and from Thomas Reade Rootes Cobb; his mother Sarah 'Birdie' Rootes Cobb; his wife Marion Cobb; and Marion's sister, Callie King (1826-1905). This collection contains four booklets containing handwritten recipes. One booklet identifies the owner as Sarah H. Woods from "Medway." One bound manuscript, entitled "Recipe Book," consists of mostly handwritten recipes. The front cover and inside back cover indicate the owner of this recipe book was Elizabeth A. White of Winchester, Virginia, and Baltimore, Maryland. The published cookbooks are cataloged separately in the location "Shillinglaw".

Cochran and Love family photographs

This collection documents members of the Cochran and Love families of Atlanta and Cobb County, Georgia. Portraits by three Atlanta photographers, William E. Lenney; Moses M. and William H. Gardner; and Edwards & Son (Jay D. Edwards and William M. Edwards) are included. Of particular interest is a carte-de-visite of United States Senator Alexander Stephens Clay (1853-1910). Clay was a tutor for the Love children and lived with the family for a year in Austell, Georgia.

Colin Dunlop civil war letters

Scope and Contents of the Records This collection contains the transcriptions of three letters written during the Civil War by Colin Dunlop. The first letter was written to his sister on April 13, 1864 at a Confederate Army camp near Dalton, Georgia. Within the letter, he mentions that he has no access to news due to the newspaper strike in Atlanta, and gives his sister updates on his health.
