Early Edgewood-Candler Park BiRacial History Project documents
This collection contains research materials from the Early Edgewood-Candler Park BiRacial History Project. Materials document the history of African American residents in the Edgewood-Candler Park area, such as deeds, city directories, neighborhood histories, and maps. Of particular note are theses written by Georgia State University students and papers about the neighborhood written by the project's founder, Amy Meyer Burns, about the neighborhood.
Georgia Historic Landscape Initiative records
This collection contains descriptive landscape surveys and accompanying research material such as correspondence, articles, maps, and garden sketches which document the history and current condition of historic landscapes included in the project. Many garden surveys are associated with a significant individual or house and provide social and cultural history as well as landscape history. Material varies according to the availability of information about each site.

The images are of residential homes and apartments, furnished interiors, historic buildings, parks, streetscapes, churches, and Edward Vason Jones's 19th Century America exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
