Graham Ligon Johnson papers

This collection contains military papers of Graham Johnson, who served as a military aide to President Taft. Included among the papers are an order book that includes a 1901 leave of absence from the military, his appointment as Aide-de-Camp to President Taft, through his discharge in 1919. Gramling journal

Green Thumb Garden Club photographs

This collection contains photographs and slides that provide details of the social and civic activities of the club. Images include flower arrangements and flower show displays, vegetable crops in the Tullie Smith House (later Smith Family Farm) garden, and members at club meetings. Of special interest are images of the courtyard garden at the Haven Home, as well as members helping residents with garden therapy projects.

Greene-Hopkins-Wadkins Land Grants

Scope and Content

This collection contains three land grants for land lots 230, 231, and 244, adjoining properties in the 17th District in Henry County, Georgia (later Fulton County, Georgia). Lot 231 was registered by Alston H. Greene of DeKalb County, Georgia in 1833 and had an irregular lottery size of 183 acres. Lot 230 was registered by John Hopkins of Emmanual County, Georgia in 1823, and lot 244 was registered by Barnett R. Wadkins of Franklin County, Georgia in 1823.

Gudmund Vigtel papers

This collection contains a handmade cookbook of family recipes, a pamphlet of recipes made by the Alabama-Georgia Syrup Company, and a page of newspaper clippings of poetry for children. The recipes are mostly for cakes and other pastries. Some of the recipes are a list of ingredients, while others also include baking instructions. Also included in the cookbook are newspaper clippings, mostly containing other recipes and beauty tips for women.
